Door Barricade
For a complete package, add our tamper proof door bars to that screen or bar
order. Constructed of fully welded durable C-channel, this unique
design makes it impossible for bolt cutters to penetrate and difficult
for hack-saws to cut. We manufacture two styles of door barricade or crossbar door
bars (made to fit the standard modular door 36" x 80"). Custom
sizes are available.
Besides security, Crossbar Door bars have been used for hurricane protection.
The standard 46” Crossbar Channel supports the following loads:
The Cross-Bar Channel section will support a Static load of 570 lbs at its center.
The Cross-Bar Channel Assembly will support an Impact load of 2200 lbs at the connection of
the cross-bar and the mounting bracket.
These maximum load values will be affected by the connection method of the mounting bracket
to the structure and the structure construction. It will also be affected by varying the width of the door.
